Belgian Film Day

Friday 16 - 2pm-6pm

This country of ours, this tiny withered croissant of 30.528 km², makes a point of being pathologically modest, as if its inhabitants, impressed by the greatness of their neighbors, prefer to shun sunlight and remain in the shade. But size doesn’t matter, folks ! Our country is maybe 40 times smaller than the Gobi desert, but it certainly wasn’t two Mongolian grains of sand that were able to make such an impression on Julius Caesar. We may not be very good at alpine skiing, with our highest mountain only reaching 694 meters, but we found other ways to lift ourselves up. It only takes a quick look at our Belgian creative livestock to be convinced once and for all: Simenon, Peyo, Magritte, Delvaux, Ensor, Brel… Therefore, the time has finally come for some shameless self-promotion : Yes, we Belgians are damn talented !
